| Accent Reduction Program |
Curriculum:
The A F International Accent Reduction classes
starts with a linguistic evaluation based on a written diagnosis of the
A F International Assessment Test. Based on the evaluation, key areas of
focus are determined (both segmental and suprasegmental) to include:
- pronunciation of individual vowels and consonants
- word stress patterns
- intonation patterns
- rhythm, linking, articulation and resonance exercises
- breath work
The intent is to develop an accent as close to a standard
regional American accent, characteristic of California speakers. Small classes
(maximum 4 students) guarantee that you will receive a high level
of personal attention and maximum learning opportunities. |
The
A F International School of Languages Inc. English Certificate
Upon graduation, you will receive an A F International
College Certificate of Completion together with a Course Transcript. |
